So I hosted a bachelor party weekend before last. A small group - only four of us total. Everyone crashed at my place Friday and Sunday nights (that was the plan, which failed) so it was a reasonably family-friendly event. Mostly.

Friday's "let's go spend a couple of hours on the Strip after dinner" turned into us getting home at 5:30 am. Four hours of sleep for me. Ow.

Saturday's staggerfest involved an unholy amount of food and drink at Firefly downtown, followed by some more drink. I tried to crash out at 3:30 or so. Random interlopers from college that the other troops stumbled into on Fremont woke me an hour later. Mojitos for breakfast. Too old to stay up two nights in a row. Two days to get brain almost right afterwards. Jesus.

Observations:

Firefly at the Plaza is as good as the one in the parking lot of Ruth's Chris on paradise.

Spa Suites at Nugget = 1,500 square feet of pimpin'

Nugget Service = blows. Might as well as be in Canada.

Water slides that go through shark tanks are the bomb. We let The Boy hang at the hotel for a bit so he could hit the pool, but sent him home before he could get in trouble for smacking cocktail mattresses on the ass.
